Low risk minimally invasive procedures

During the 14 years of Dr Burfitt's interventional radiology (IR) practice, he has routinely performed the standard IR procedures needed for all types of patients in large NHS and private hospitals.

All of these minimally invasive procedures are performed under real-time imaging (ultrasound, low-dose X-ray and CT) usually under local anaesthetic and sedation. This approach enables patients to avoid invasive surgery, recover more quickly, avoid complications and consequently get home sooner.
